City of Minot Presentation to 2011 North Dakota Special Legislative Session
The City of Minot worked closely with local partners to prepare a special flood video documenting some of the many concerns related to the 2011 Flood. The following video tells the story as City leaders inform both House and Senate leaders during discussion on the disaster relief bill.
As part of this presentation, City leaders showed the following graphic related to the Annual Peak Streamflow, in cubic feet per second, of the Souris River just above Minot. This helps to put the magnitude of water in historical context for better understanding.
